Socially Skilled Seniors, Inc. aims to help seniors stay connected, informed, and engaged through the use of modern technology and social platforms. We believe that lifelong learning is a gift from God that supports independence, strengthens the mind, and deepens meaningful relationships.
We offer seniors the following:
Digital Devices and Essentials
We teach seniors how to use smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other everyday devices with confidence. This includes basic setup, safe browsing, email use, and understanding important device settings.
Social Media and Online Communication
Members learn how to stay in touch with family and friends through platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and video calling apps. We focus on safe interaction, privacy settings, and building positive online habits.
Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies
We introduce seniors to helpful tools such as voice assistants, AI based services, and online learning platforms. Our goal is to make new technology simple, friendly, and accessible.
Online Safety and Scam Awareness
We equip seniors with practical steps to recognize and avoid online scams, protect personal information, and create strong passwords. Cyber safety is one of our top priorities.

Socially Skilled Seniors, a faith-based organization, envisions a future where technology is not a barrier but a bridge, a resource that enhances life, fosters self-esteem, builds confidence, and affirms that learning, growth, and purpose have no age limit.

According to Gartner Glossary, Social Technology is any technology that facilitates social interactions and is enabled by a communications capability, such as the Internet or a mobile device. Examples are social software (e.g., wikis, blogs, social networks) and communication capabilities (e.g., Web conferencing) that are targeted at and enable social interactions, ( Gartner, Inc. 2023). Our goal is to keep seniors informed and updated about the latest social technologies, to offer education on how to properly utilize such devices, and to provide knowledge regarding device safety along with internet safety.
